FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Company Level/Corporate Governance Controls
- Financial Reporting Controls
- Order to Cash Controls
- Inventory Management Controls
- Company Level/Corporate Governance Controls
- Financial Reporting Controls
- Accounting/Finance Processes
- Confidentiality Management (includes general and IT security)
- ESG objectives
- Risk Management
- Annual Risk Assessment -- HQ companies
- Coordinate risk discussions with individual divisions of HQ companies.
- Consolidate collected risk information for initial risk report to management.
- Complete risk documentation and matrix for management reporting
- Annual Risk Assessment -- Manufacturing companies
- Coordinate & Conduct risk sharing with each N.A. plant.
- Collect local risk levels and identify risk variances that are not covered by HQ assessment.
- Consolidate risk reports for N.A.
- Risk Reporting – Corporate and Japan Headquarters
- Coordinate risk reports and prioritization of risks for management.
- Collect risk mitigation plans from applicable areas and report to management regularly.
- Support implementation of risk mitigation for key risks
- Actively participate in Risk Management Committee
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree: Accounting/Finance related degree preferred.
- IIA CIA certification a plus
- Experience working with J-SOX (Financial Instruments and Exchange Act)
- Experience performing various types of internal audits.
- Experience working with Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
- Bi-lingual: English / Japanese
- Experience in Multi-cultural environment
- Experience in Automotive Manufacturing
- Certificates, Licensees, Registrations:
- IIA CIA certification a plus
