MBS is in urgent need of a Director Design Build in Mason, OH. This position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze a project before it starts, accurately estimate costs related to labor, materials, equipment, and other relevant areas. Oversee all aspects of the building process, working closely with owners and architects to develop plans, establish timetables, and determine labor and material costs. The Director is responsible for ensuring the project is completed on time and on budget.
- All facets of project marketing/sales, design and estimating.
- Review drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
- Solicit vendor and subcontractor bids and provide necessary documentation to support bid packages.
- Assist with creation of initial project budget and schedule in accordance with contract terms and conditions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong understanding of Mechanical systems and their operations
- Minimum 3 Years Construction/Design/Project Management experience
- Superior Customer Satisfaction ratings/feedback
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Timely responses to external and internal communications and needs.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proven ability to read and thoroughly understand blueprints.
- Proficient with various Estimating Software packages
