Kable Staffing is in urgent need of an Installer in Cincinnati, OH. This position is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.
The Installer is responsible for delivery and installation of all office furniture assigned for the day, making sure that the job is completed on time with minimal to no punch list. They are responsible for having all necessary tools to complete the install, completing all necessary paperwork associated with the install and turning it in. On occasion, overtime will come up and Installers are required to work any overtime that comes up on the install or is assigned to them. On projects with a definite deadline, Installers will be expected to stay, within reason, until the job is complete.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Installer to go through the paperwork for that day checking for any special tools or hardware needed
- The Installer is responsible for locating the Installation Manager or Service Manager to sign out the tools or hardware needed
- The Installer load all tools, carts, and dollies on the truck also making sure that the product is secured to avoid damage.
- It is the Installer's responsibility to clean the windows and interior of the vehicles at least twice a month
- Before leaving for the day, each Installer is required to check the schedule for start times for the next day in case there is an early start or any special needs as in work boots, hard hats, and safety glasses.
- On arrival to the job site the Lead Installer will direct the Installers as to where the product will be staged, and the Installers will start unloading the truck
- It is the Installer's responsibility to complete a timesheet daily. This will include job sites and po numbers for the job sites and will be turned in at the end of each day
- Upon return to the warehouse, all garbage will be removed from the cab of the truck. It is then the responsibility of the Installers to empty the back of the truck of all product and trash.
REQUIREMENTS
- Different capabilities may be required on each job site; however, Installers need to be able to consistently lift 75 lbs. and sometimes more on occasion, as well as possess the ability to bend, squat, kneel, twist/turn, climb and reach above shoulder height to meet possible requirements for each job.
- Maintain flexibility regarding job assignments
- Meet productivity standards after successfully completing training
- Must be a team player and able to work well with others
