MBS is in urgent need of Japanese Translator in Troy, OH. This position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read given material and research industry-specific terminology
- Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone
- Prepare subtitles for videos and online presentations
- Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
- Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs
- Working with clients to identify their requirements and ensure the final product will meet those requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role
- Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
- Time-management skills
- Must be able to speak and understand and write English and Japanese
- Must be able to do overtime if necessary
- Must be able to travel if necessary
- Know technical words for mechanical and electrical is a plus
