Kable Staffing is in urgent need of a Landscaper in Columbus, OH. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes
- Apply fertilizer to ground to enhance growth
- Shovel snow from walkways and sprinkle ice down to keep people from falling
- Sweep walkway of debris
- Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger
- Trim shrubs and pull weeds
- Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds when necessary
- Water plants and grass as needed and apply fertilizer
- Perform groundskeeping and building maintenance duties
- Mow lawn either by hand or using a riding lawnmower
- Cut lawn using hand, power, or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping
REQUIREMENTS
- 18 years of age
- Must have transportation to the Delaware office; transportation to the job site will be provided
- Able to work safely and efficiently
- Be a team player with the ability to work well with others
- Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time, up to 10 hours per day
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. on a continuous basis for 100% of working hours
- Ability to frequently lift above (up to 8 feet overhead) or below shoulder level
- Ability to walk, push, pull, grasp, hold, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, and stoop on a repetitive basis
- Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Pass a background check and drug test
- Wear work boots
