Kable Staffing is in urgent need of a Manual Machinist at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky). This position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity. This position offers an excellent opportunity for Quality Assurance individuals to work in an empowered manufacturing setting
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
- Reads and interprets blueprints.
- Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
- Uses precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, hydraulic press, chop saw, push and pull broaches and a variety of cutting tools.
- Fabricates and shapes parts such as tools and machine parts out of metal, plastics, and composites.
- Properly and safely selects, aligns, secures and removes holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and material onto machines.
- Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling.
- Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
- Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
Job Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
- Mandatory FAA drug and alcohol screening.
- Able to work in a repair environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
