MBS is in urgent need of a Plumbing Estimator / Commercial & Industrial in Mason, OH. This position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plumbing Estimator is responsible for producing a variety of estimates including Conceptual, Design-Build, Design-Assist, and Plan and Spec. for commercial & Industrial projects; utilizing estimating software to prepare bids. In addition, candidates should be able to assist with preparing project-specific proposal documents. Knowledge of Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing Estimating is required.
- Proficient in using excel spreadsheets to build estimates, inclusive of transferring data to the spreadsheets from the estimation software, applying labor factors, establishing general conditions, and defining site logistics cost components into the overall cost basis.
- Proficient in structuring the estimate to support the unique requirements of individual project cost breakdowns.
- Maintain all bid files, electronic and physical, estimate notes and assumptions of project estimates.
- Define productivity requirements for the uniqueness of each project.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong Computer skills
- HVAC field experience
- Must have experience as a Service Manager.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to prioritize and manage time efficiently to meet submission deadlines.
